PAUL SPACEY, OLDERS COORDINATOR - BOYS

The coordinator of the ALBION Santa Monica Olders Program - Boys (U15-U19) is accountable for overseeing all aspects of the program, including player recruitment, selection, training, and retention, while ensuring that coaches adhere to ALBION Santa Monica standards. This role entails adhering to the curriculum, training sessions, and development standards, and providing programming guidance and curriculum resources. The coordinator identifies and nurtures talent through our player-centric approach and collaborates with staff coaches to facilitate player advancement. 

Paul played semi-professionally for over a decade in England and moved to the U.S in 2011. He has a unique background in the game, having played at a high level, been a referee for many years (including officiating professional and international teams) and now having been a coach for almost 15 years.

His knowledge and experience is wide-ranging and this allows him to connect and communicate effectively with players, coaches, referees and parents. That connection and communication is crucial and something our players and families at Albion Santa Monica certainly benefit from. Paul’s intense, immersive coaching style demands the best from every player he works with and he is currently on the path to gaining his USSF C-License.
